Major (Retired) Rhett Parkinson was born in South Africa and sent to school in England and attended Officer Training at Sandhurst Military Academy. He has served for about 20 years in the regulars and has spent the last 10 years in the reserves where he still serves.

He works as lead and director of the Armed Forces Christian Union, who pray for all those in all the Armed Forces. He has also been working with groups of Ukrainian Army Padres.
